Starting a Fundraiser
Ready to launch your Purdys fundraiser? Follow these steps to become a fundraising coordinator and get your campaign up and running.
Step 1: Create Your Campaign
Visit purdys.com/fundraising and click Create a Campaign. A pop-up window will appear where you can enter your organization’s details.
Step 2: Add Your Organization
Start by entering your Fundraiser Name.
You can either:
- Select an existing organization from the dropdown menu, or
- Click Create a New Organization and provide:
- Organization name
- Phone number
- Address (Line 1 & 2, City, Province, Postal Code)
Click Go to Fundraising Setup to continue.
Step 3: Enter Fundraiser Details
You’ll be taken to your dashboard to complete your campaign setup. Before launching, be sure to confirm the following:
Confirm Fundraiser Information
Add a personal touch to help your campaign stand out:
- Campaign Name - Use a clear and recognizable name so supporters know who they’re helping.
- Description - Briefly share your story. Let people know what you’re fundraising for and why it matters.
- Photos & Logo - Upload a group logo or image to personalize your page.
A well-crafted fundraising page can build trust and boost participation.
Step 4: Set Your Fundraising Goal
Enter the total sales amount you hope to reach. Based on this goal, you’ll see the profit percentage your campaign qualifies for, helping you estimate your total earnings.
Want to keep your goal private? Toggle Hide Goal.
Step 5: Confirm Delivery Information
Decide how orders will be received. Choose one of the following options:
- Add a Delivery Address - Enter the address where you’d like the orders delivered.
- Pick Up at the Warehouse - Provide details for the person collecting the orders.
- Supporter Pick-Up Location - If supporters will pick up their orders at another location, enter the address and any special instructions.
Step 6: Choose Your Delivery Window
Select your campaign submission date. The system will automatically calculate the earliest available delivery window, factoring in processing time, shipping, and holidays.
Prefer a later delivery date? Click Edit to choose another available window. The submission date will update automatically.
Step 7: Finalize and Launch Your Campaign
Before launching, you’ll need to:
- Review and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
- Check your Pre-Launch Summary.
- Click Launch Fundraiser Now to go live, or
- Click No, I want to make changes to the above to return and edit.
Once launched, your fundraiser will be live and ready to share.
Edit Information: If you need to edit your Fundraiser information and details after your Fundraiser is launched, you can simply click on [Edit] and Fundraiser you can modify whatever is necessary. To save the changes, make sure you click “Save Changes”
Preview your Fundraiser - You can preview how your campaign looks like for your Supporters by clicking “Preview as a Member”. This is the same screen that your Supporters see and access. It has limited functions. To exit preview and return to your coordinator view, click on “exit preview”
Step 8: Access Your Fundraising Campaign
To access your fundraising campaign, follow the steps below:
- Click [My Account].
- Select My Campaigns.
You will be able to view all your campaigns, including past campaigns and current campaigns organized by status: Active, Submitted, or Canceled.
